Amber Alert For Missing Girl

An Amber Alert is issued after a five year old girl is taken from her home in Popular Bluff. The Highway Patrol says sometime between late last night and early this morning, Abigail Berthoff was abducted. She is described as a bi-racial female with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe she was taken by 45-year old Jeffrey Shelton. He is a white male, six feet tall with brown hair and green eyes. Shelton is believed to be driving a silver 2001 Nissan Pathfinder or Armada with Missouri license P-J-8-Z-5-M. Anyone with any information is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
