Ahead of their workshops next week, Ameren Missouri is trying to clear up what they call misinformation.
In a statement from Ameren’s Jeff Green from shoreline management, he says despite Ameren’s best efforts to communicate as much information as possible, he is troubled by certain comments and misinformation regarding the issues facing affected properties at lake of the ozarks.
Green says for those most impacted, and others interested in finding the truth in this matter, they should seek out the deed history of the impacted properties. Green says that Ameren’s ownership interests are duly and publicly recorded in Camden, Benton, Miller, and Morgan counties and he has personally reviewed deed after deed and plat after plat that omit the company’s ownership interest in subsequent deeds and conveyances.
Green also adds in the statement that no part of this revision of the boundary line includes leasing land, structures, or facilities back to affected landowners, and rumors to the contrary are inaccurate.
Ameren Missouri will workshop their proposed boundary plan next Tuesday from 6 to 8 at the Inn at the Grand Glaize and next Thursday from 6 to 8 at the Lake West Christian Academy in Sunrise Beach.
