Ameren Missouri customers should see a slight drop in the fuel adjustment charge on their electric bill. The PSC approved a lower charge and it takes effect September 24th. The FAC tariff lets Ameren pass rises or falls in its net fuel and purchase power costs to customers outside of a general rate case. The change will see the charge drop about .21-cents/month, from $3.17 to $2.96/month – for the average residential customer who uses 1,100 kWh of electricity a month.
