Ameren Missouri customers could see another rate cut under a proposal from the electric provider with the Public Service Commission. They’re asking for a $1 million overall decrease beginning in May of 2020. That amounts to about three cents per month for the average customer. The filing on Friday is the first step in an 11-month process to reduce the rates. It’s part of a larger plan by Ameren that includes the lartest infrastructure upgrade in the company’s 100-year history.
