Ameren has opened the floodgates on Bagnell Dam yet again. The reopening of the dam comes after the rainfall causes Truman Lake to flood by over 18 feet. During the flooding, Truman Dam was sealed to prevent the Lake of the Ozarks from flooding. The plan is to keep the gates open for several weeks in hopes to lower Truman Lake almost 20 feet. As of this morning, Bagnell Dam is flowing around 48,700 cubic feet per second.
