Missouri’s new rules dealing with bail bonding and detention of suspects is drawing more criticism. Jeff Clayton is President of the American Bail Coalition. He says while the Supreme Court may have had the best of intentions, the process of creating the rules was not well thought out.
One of the biggest criticisms is that the Supreme Court drafted the new rules unilaterally. Clayton says the best solution is basically to start over with more voices in the conversation.
Clayton discussed the topic during an appearance on “The Ozarks Today” on KRMS.
