A 3rd report of the Disease spreading around the country called Cyclospora has been found yet again in the State of Missouri. Ryan Hobart with the Department of Health and Senior Services:
Hobart says if you have the disease, it’s not fun:
If you are having these symptoms (extended diarrhea, extreme stomach pain or nausea) Hobart says you need to see a doctor right away to determine if the cause is Cyclospora. Though the illness that have been reported so far have yet to be confirmed, health agencies in other states have started tracking down the causes to a possible lettuce grown in Mexico. If you need more information on the disease, you can go online to health.mo.gov
So far of the three reports in this state, one has been in Jackson County and two now in Taney County. Mo health officials have not yet found the cause of this illness nor confirmed the illness but are working with the CDC to find out what is causing it.
