For the second time in 24 hours, a traffic stop on Horseshoe Bend comes to an end with a felony drug bust. The Camden County Sheriff’s Department says it happened Wednesday night when the deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the SUV. A subsequent search allegedly revealed over 12 ounces of marijuana, with some of it pre-packaged for sale, along with baggies, scales and other paraphernalia. The 30-year-old white female from Kansas City, Kansas, then produced an invalid Colorado drivers license. She was taken to the Camden County Jail and is being charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, which is a Class-C felony. Her name has not been released.
