For the second day in a row, severe weather pushes its way through parts of the Lake Area leaving behind reports of scattered damage. This time, the hardest hit areas appeared to be in Greenview. Mid-County Fire Chief Scott Frandsen says personnel responded around 5-AM on Friday to several weather-related emergencies including downed power lines and trees, docks and other structures which had sustained damage. Firefighters also went by water and land to make sure electrical power was turned off to the damaged docks until they could be inspected. Boaters are being urged to use caution in the area of the Little Niangua due to a substantial amount of debris being in the water.
