Three people from the Lake Area and an Eldon business are indicted for conspiracy to distribute synthetic drugs. US Attorney for the Western District of Missouri Tammy Dickinson says six other people and three other businesses in Columbia and Jefferson City are also named in a federal indictment. 42-year old Kent Holtz of Kaiser, 43-year old Chadwick Schlicht of Osage Beach and 47-year old Scott Hanson of Versailles are accused of being part of conspiracy to distribute synthetic marijuana or K2 from December of 2011 to October of 2013. Dickinson says during the same time, Puff N Stuff in Eldon participated in a money laundering conspiracy. The case was investigated by the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group Drug Task Force, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, the Camden County Sheriff’s Department, Camdenton Police, the MUSTANG Drug Task Force, the Cole County Sheriff’s Department, Columbia Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration, IRS-Criminal Investigation, and the Department of Homeland Security.
