Astronauts Make It To The International Space Station Safely

The SpaceX Crew Dragon Capsule with Lake Native Commander Mike Hopkins has arrived at the International Space Station.

Docking came just over 27 a half hours after launch from the Kennedy Space Center.

The docking happened automatically, but Commander Mike Hopkins and pilot Victor Glover were ready to override software if necessary.

Thio. Hopkins, Glover, Shannon Walker and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi have begun their six month stay in orbit, bringing the total number of station crew members to seven.
