What started as an attempted traffic stop was just the beginning of what transformed into a short pursuit and a couple of arrests in Camden County. Captain Chris Twitchel, from the sheriff’s department, says it happened Sunday evening in the area of Willow Creek Road and South Highway-5. As the vehicle approached the Keystone Business Park, two occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot…they were later taken into custody. A subsequent search of the vehicle, allegedly, uncovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine. 46-year-old Tatum Coleman, of Lebanon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the State of Kansas and two warrants out of Laclede County. She also faces new charges of possession and resisting arrest as well as not having a valid driver’s license. Also taken in was 43-year-old Martin Wayson from Stover. Wayson had been wanted on an outstanding felony warrant out of Morgan County and, now, faces new charges of possession and resisting. Both were taken to the Camden County Jail.
