Beaches Open For Final Weekend Of The Season

If you’re planning to hit the beach this weekend, you’re in luck.

The DNR Reports both Public Beach # 1 and # 2 at the Lake of the Ozarks State Park are open.

It’s the last weekend for the beaches, as they will close on Monday for the season.

The beaches at Harry S. Truman State Park in Warsaw have already closed for the year.

 

Open beaches

Finger Lakes State Park, 1505 E. Peabody Rd, Columbia (Closing for the season on Sept. 14)

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Public Beach 1, 403 Hwy 134, Kaiser (Closing for the season on Sept. 14)

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Grand Glaize Beach, off Hwy 54, Osage Beach (Closing for the season on Sept. 14)

Pomme de Terre State Park Pittsburg Beach, Hwy 64B, Pittsburg (Closing for the season on Sept. 14)

Pomme de Terre State Park Hermitage Beach, Hwy 64B, Pittsburg (Closing for the season on Sept. 14)

Trail of Tears State Park, 429 Moccasin Springs, Jackson (Closing for the season on Sept. 14)
