Fixing roads in the Southern part of Benton county will be a lot easier this summer

Thanks to a decision by the Board of Commissioners, the County’s Road and Bridge Department #1 now has a new asphalt paver unit.

Commissioners say it saves the county money by not having to lease one every time they want to make a minor repair

In total, the Paver costs around $85,000…. but the county was able to use the sale of some unneeded equipment and other open funds to cover the costs.
