Benton County Clerk Mary Lutman has officially retired from her position. According to reports, Lutman had served the county for over 40 years. A special reception was held last week to honor her service to the community, which ended on December 31st. Lutman says she has been planning to do this for some time now and is looking forward to spending time traveling across the country. While Lutman was born in Kansas City, she came to live in Warsaw as a child and has never left. She started working for the county in 1973 and has been County Clerk since 2003. It’s unknown who will take her place going forward at this time.
