Benton County Sheriff Eric Knox And Wife Joy Knox Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash

The Benton County Sheriff and his wife are in the hospital following a Motorcycle crash on Highway 7 in Warsaw.

According the Highway Patrol, Sheriff Eric Knox and his Wife Joy Knox were traveling Southbound over the Mile-Long Bridge on Truman Lake when his rear tire exploded, causing him to lose control, overturn and strike the side of the bridge.

Both were flown to University Hospital in Columbia, where the sheriff is currently listed in Stable Condition and his wife remains in Critical Condition

The Patrol say they were both wearing their helmets.
