The Camdenton Parks and Recreation Department will be turning back the clock later this month to celebrate a milestone anniversary. It’s been 20 years since they first opened their aquatic center. They’re looking to commemorate the occasion with a big party May 26th. City administrators and park board officials from 2000 and 2019 have been invited for a ribbon cutting ceremony. The event will feature a photo display of the construction phase and early days of the pool facility. The public is invited to walk down memory lane, enjoy some cake and ice cream, and dive in with throw-back pricing….cost of admission will be $3 for those ages 13 and over, and just $2 for those under 13 years old….that’s the same price you would have paid to get in in 2000.
