One of the bills being looked at by the Missouri special session on violent crime had died on the house floor.
The Bill which have let courts decide if minors as young as 16 could be certified as adults for certain violent crimes.
Representatives tell KRMS News that there were concerns on both sides of the isle about how this could affect our youth.
There are already provisions in place that involve most violent crimes for youth.
Other bills still in debate include removing misdemeanor crime charges for those who give firearms to minors without parent’s permission and a bill to allow St. Louis Police to live outside the city.
