Bill Could Cut Nixon’s Travel Budget For Schools

A house panel has approved a plan to cut Governor Nixon’s travel budget. The idea is to increase the basic aid for k-12 schools and increase money for college scholarships. A house budget committee voted in favor of a package that outlines Missouri’s spending for the next fiscal year. The measures will next need approval from the full house.
