Bill Proposal Aims at Banning Toll Roads

 

As MoDOT continues to look for ways to fund road maintenance, a State Representative is attempting to remove one of their options. Representative Bryan Spencer has proposed an amendment to a state budget bill that would ban toll roads in the state. Area Engineer Bob Lynch says there isn’t much they can do to push the proposed bill either way.

The bill has passed the House and is now awaiting its public hearing in the Senate. The public hearing has been rescheduled eight times since April 10^th.
