A Missouri Senator is calling for a study to determine how media and technology impact children. Roy Blunt is a sponsor on a bill authorizing the National Institutes of Health to conduct the research. Primarily, they’ll look at the effects of technology and media on cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional development in infants, children, and adolescents. Blunt says “advancing research to better understand the impact of technology will help parents create a healthy environment for their children to learn and grow.”
