The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen has a packed agenda for their meeting tomorrow night. Aldermen will weave their way through 10 items under the “new business” portion of the agenda. One of those is a resolution calling on city officials to start a two-year clock and notify trash haulers that they may go to a single-provider system. If approved, the city will spend the next 24 months gathering information and research on the plan. Tomorrow’s vote does not constitute a commitment to adopt the new system. Other agenda items include a grant agreement for a taxiway reconstruction project at the airport, and a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance updating the city’s floodplain management program. Thursday’s meeting will be held at a special time, beginning at 5pm. That’s an hour earlier than the board normally meets.
