15 Million dollars. That is the amount determined by the jury set to go to a man who had his whole life flash in front of his eyes 4 ½ years ago. A jury trial has been underway regarding the case of Donald Black, who back in July of 2010, was fueling his 2000 Baja Special at the then Horny Toad Marina, now Camden on the Lake, and when he went to fire the engines, it exploded into flames. Jurors looked over evidence and talked to witnesses for nearly 3 weeks before coming back with their official decision. Camden on the Lake was not found liable for the situation, however, Baja boats operated by a company called Brunswick, was. Evidenced entered showed that a possible sever in the fuel line inside the boat lead to a large gas leak that lead to the boat catching fire. According to medical reports, Black had suffered from 3rd degree burns and had his heart stop nearly 60 times during the initial few weeks following the fire.
