It’s one of the most common injuries when it comes to recreational boating… falls within a boat or being tossed around due to the boat hitting a large wake. That’s according to the new Director of the Missouri Highway Patrol’s Water Patrol Division, Matt Walz. Walz says if you operate a boat at a speed or in a manner damaging property or causing injury to someone, then you are liable.
Walz goes on to say those operating a boat need to constantly be paying attention to their surroundings, be aware of the wake that they are sending out, and not to mix alcohol with their activities.
