Body Found In Rural Laclede County Creek Identified As Missing Marshfield Man

We’re learning more about a body found near Eldridge in Laclede County this past weekend.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man is being identified as 33-year-old Nathan Young of Marshfield, MO, who had been missing since November 4^th.

His younger brother Auston Felton tells our news partner KY 3 TV their family is in total shock.

Laclede County Sheriff David Milsap says a couple looking for arrowheads in Mountain Creek discovered the body, but it took time to identify him.

He says they will continue to investigate how Young ended up in the creek and what may have led to his death.
