Boil Advisory In Place For Residents Of St. Robert

A boil advisory is in place at a few locations in St. Robert, southeast of the Lake Area.

The city says there’s an emergency water main break that could affect people on Hope Street, Regent Street and Alice Street. Businesses at 1037 and 1057 Old Rt. 66 could also be affected.

The advisory is precautionary as work is being done and this could cause contaminants to get into the main.

The advisory will remain in effect for 3-5 days, or until the Missouri D-N-R says the water is safe.

You’re advised to boil water for 3 minutes before drinking it, or use bottled water in the meantime.
