A Miller County man accused of shooting and killing a teenager late last year has had his bond reduced. Larry Micah Matthews of Tuscumbia is accused of killing Dalton Bishop. His bond was originally set at $500,000. A judge has granted a motion to reduce that to $300,000 cash or surety despite the objection of the prosecuting attorney. It was at least the second time that Matthews had requested a lower bond. That motion was denied in a previous hearing. The case against him was sent to the circuit court level after the judge found there was probable cause to believe that Matthews committed the crime.
