A Barnett man accused of child abuse and neglect is scheduled to be in court Wednesday. Attorneys for Troy Wyche are seeking a reduction in his $250,000 bond. Current conditions set for bond allow for 10% cash or surety and bar Wyche from any contact with the child victim, the mother, or his own mother, both of whom are also charged in the case. Wyche, who is charged with three counts of abuse or neglect of a child including one count with serious emotional or physical injury, is also barred from contact with anyone under the age of 17. In addition to the three charges against him in Morgan County, he also faces a similar charge in Miller County from an incident that took place in 2018 involving the same child.
