Boonville Man Captured Following Shooting On I-70

A Boonville man is being held without bond after opening fire on a van on eastbound Interstate-70 near the 175-mile marker.

The highway patrol says 28-year-old Chad Michael Kennedy took off from the scene after two tractor-trailer drivers parked around the disabled van to shield it from the gunfire.

He was found shortly afterwards.

Three people were in the van at the time…no word on their conditions at this time.
