Bradie Simpson Waives Arraignment; Case Ordered Set for Trial

Bradie Simpson, the 39-year-old Camdenton woman accused of slitting her nine-month-old daughter’s throat, has waived formal arraignment and Camden County Judge Kenneth Hayden has ordered the case to be set for trial. Simpson’s public defender has requested a change of venue and the next court date has not been set yet. She’s charged with armed criminal action and first-degree assault in connection with the February 3rd incident, and remains in custody. She’s being held on half-a-million dollars bond.
