BREAKING: April 7TH Municipal Elections Postponed Statewide

April 7^th municipal elections across Missouri are the latest casualties of the COVID-19 pandemic. Governor Mike Parson issued Executive Order 20-03 late Wednesday morning ordering that all municipal elections be postponed until June 2^nd. According to Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft’s office, the closing date to register to vote in the municipal elections will remain the same on March 11th while the deadline to file as a write-in candidate remains the same on March 27^th. Also, military and overseas voters need to request a ballot from their election authority no later than 5pm on May 29^th. Ballots already printed for April 7th will be allowed to be used for June 2nd.
