A meth lab less than 200 feet away from School of the Osage property lands a 42-year-old from Lake Ozark into hot water. Police Chief Gary Launderville says a joint investigation between his department and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force resulted in a search warrant being executed this week at 1363 School Road. Discovered at the scene were an undisclosed amount of meth, components to manufacture and distribute meth and paraphernalia. Also discovered was a meth lab on the property just 193 feet from Heritage Elementary property. Taken into custody was 42-year-old Steven Michael Little. He is charged with distribution of methamphetamine in a protected location and manufacturing a controlled substance within two-thousand feet of a school. Little is being held in the Miller County Jail on a $200-thousand bond.
