Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to turn attention to an annual post-holiday tradition – cleaning up. If you still have a Christmas tree to get rid of, you can use it to help improve the ecosystem of Lake of the Ozarks. The operators of Bridal Cave accept trees every year, which they then sink into the lake.
Steve Thompson says simply clean everything off of your tree and bring it out to the cave, and they’ll tell you where to drop it off. They’ll be accepting tress through Sunday. Someone will be on hand to help you out between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
