Bridge Replacement To Happen On Interstate 70 Next Week

If you plan to drive I-70 in Callaway County, you’ll need an alternate route next week.

MoDOT’s making plans for a new bridge on Callaway County Route D over the interstate.

The freeway will be closed in both directions from Route A/Z to Route D/YY on June 23^rd while the demolition takes place.

Single lane closures will start at 7 pm and then a full closure at 9 pm until 6 am the next morning.

The bridge replacement is part of Governor Mike Parson’s $351 million dollar Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges around the state.
