Some much-needed safety enhancements on a couple of Camden County bridges along Route-A are now scheduled to take place later this year. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a contract for the work to Ennis Excavating of Jamestown. Ennis will replace the decks on the Conns Creek bridge north of Richland and the Dry Auglaize Creek bridge east of Linn Creek. The two bridges were both built in 1967. Work is scheduled to begin in June and will require full closures of Route-A. Detours will be in place until the work is finished up sometime in August.
