Christmas may be over but one area woman is apparently still angry about a situation that occurred during the holidays which has led to her being charged with a class “c” felony. Rachel Brumley of Laclede County is accused of ramming her car into another and then leaving the scene. The driver of the other vehicle allegedly told police that Brumley intentionally swerved toward him and hit has car. When questioned Brumley allegedly said she first hit the car accidentally and then when she saw that it was her son-in-law, she hit him again. Apparently she was still upset over an incident that occurred on Christmas. She is facing charges of assault in the second degree.
