A Brumley man being transported to the Camden County Jail is accused of spitting on, and threatening, the deputy. That’s according to the probable cause statement which says John Daniel Urban is charged with a class-A misdemeanor of assault 4th degree involving a special victim. When the deputy felt Urban’s spit, he stopped the patrol car to place a spit hood over Urban. Urban was placed on a 24-hour hold and, formally, charged with the assault on Thursday. His bond was set at $50-thousand cash-only.
