A Miller County woman has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and child abuse charges in the death of her fiance’s daughter. 37-year-old Roshell Dawn Johnson of Brumley was arrested in 2008 after the 20-month-old child suffered serious brain injuries while in her care. The toddler was flown to University Hospital in Columbia where she died the next day. Johnson will return to court in Camdenton July 9th for sentencing. Under the terms of the plea agreement, the sentence could range from a minimum of 10 up to 25 years in prison.
