A man accused in what is described as a brutal domestic violence case is scheduled to stand trial in Camden County next week. Clarence Porter of Linn Creek was charged with first-degree domestic assault causing serious physical injury in December of 2016. Continuations and delays have kept the case in the court system since that time. Most recently, a defense motion to disqualify the prosecution team was rejected by the judge in early September. That came after the court granted an oral request for a continuation in August that was opposed by prosecutors. Jury selection and opening arguments are scheduled for Tuesday.
