Four suspects believed to be responsible for at least 25 burglaries in several counties are taken into custody in Morgan County. The Sheriff’s Office says they started an investigation after several reports of burglaries in the northern part of Morgan County between June 16th and June 24th. The overnight burglaries were specifically targeted at Mennonite owned businesses. Last week, detectives searched a residence in the 500 block of North Oak Street in Stover. Several items and two guns, all reportedly stolen were found. Items also allegedly taken from other counties were also discovered in the home. Authorities contacted in other counties say the items were taken from Mennonite owned businesses. The suspects were arrested and are being held at the Morgan County Jail with charges expected to be filed soon.
