A public/private partnership has led to the reopening of a business that had been closed for about three months. Laclede Industries had closed their recycling center in Lake Ozark due to needed renovations and a lack of water on site. City Administrator Dave Van Dee said they had water and sewer lines nearby and saw a chance to help.
The agreement made it possible for the center to reopen, which they did earlier this week. Van Dee said it was a move that was in-demand by city residents.
The recycling center will now be open on Tuesdays from 10-6 and will be a self-service drop-off center.
