Business owners and city officials from Lake Ozark are trying to find solutions to parking problems on the Bagnell Dam Strip. Discussions are ongoing in hopes of coming up with ways to create more available spots for customers, reducing their need to walk long distances to visit the establishments of their choice. Part of the solution may involve providing a trolley, or bus service, that services the strip area only. With such a service in place, employees could then park at a designated location away from the heart of the strip and ride the trolley to work. Business owners are also trying to identify lot space that could possibly be opened up for public parking to help alleviate some of the problem.
