Restaurant owners in Osage Beach who want to go completely smoke free but have a patio area for smokers that will also be able to serve alcohol will have the chance to amend their city liquor license. At the Board of Alderman meeting on Thursday night, officials announced owners need to contact the city to get the free amendment and to report their square footage if they not previously done so. The businesses will still have to follow state rules for alcohol, but the license will be amended at no cost. Also at the meeting on Thursday night, two appointments were made to the city planning commission. Jerry Fox will replace Michelle Myler who is now a city alderman. Jeff Betherum is also joining the department.
