Over 400 people fill a ballroom at Lodge of Four Seasons for an event that benefits a domestic violence shelter that serves Camden, Miller and Morgan Counties. The 12th annual brunch for CADV was held on Wednesday. The event raised more than 16 thousand dollars for the shelter in Camdenton. Citizens Against Domestic Violence / Victim Outreach Center provides safe shelter and a variety of free and confidential services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. In 2012, CADV/VOC provided first time services to 277 women, six men and 151 child victims of domestic and/or sexual violence. They also answered 449 hotlines, and provided 23 hundred 69 bed nights of safe shelter. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
