Recently, the idea of starting a special road district in Camden County’s second district has come up. Second District Commissioner Don Williams says after looking into it and thinking about it more, he’s against the idea but he definitely thinks they need to do something to give the Road and Bridge Department more funding.
He points out that things like quarry rock, asphalt, and diesel have skyrocketed over the last few years. As of right now, he says the commission is looking at numerous solutions that wouldn’t necessarily include a special road district.
