State auditors working on an evaluation of the Camden County government may be nearing an end to their work. The field work at the courthouse began early this year on the first full-scale audit conducted in the county since the 1990’s. Presiding Commissioner Greg Hasty says that portion of the evaluation should be wrapping up.
The initial reports will be reviewed by the various department heads, who will have a chance to respond to any issues raised in the audit.
When the final report is completed, it will be released to the public by State Auditor Nicole Galloway.
