Camden County is getting more than half a million dollars to pave Dry Hollow Road. The grant comes from the Department of Economic Development’s Community Development Block Grant Program. Dry Hollow Road runs through Ha Ha Tonka State Park. There’s been some concern about potential gravel runoff from the road affecting the cave system there. The $600,000 grant will help prevent that. The grant was officially awarded October 15th but was embargoed from public announcement until Thursday.
