A number of issues surrounding Camden County were brought up during the commission meeting Tuesday morning. Camden County resident Sue Hofmann spoke to the commission about her concerns.
At the end of the meeting, the commission agreed with Hofmann’s points and has decided to look into the idea of having their meetings twice a week at specific times and they plan to post more of their information on the County’s website. Finally, the commission voted to have a Comprehensive Audit, which is much more in depth than the annual audit the county has. Next, the commission will contact the state auditor’s office and private companies to decide which company would be best to perform the audit.
