The Camden County Commission will be discussing possible changes to a controversial policy regarding courthouse closures when they meet early next week. The current policy is that the administration offices close if Camdenton Schools close. Commissioner Don Williams says that’s likely to change.
The existing policy has been challenged by attorney Christopher Rohrer who says it’s a waste of taxpayer money and may be unconstitutional because workers in other county departments receive comp time when the admin building closes. The discussion will take place Monday morning at 10am.
