The Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments now has a new chair person. Camden County Presiding Commissioner Kris Franken says he was elected to the position last week during their regular meeting.
Franken says the LOCLG is a regional planning commission for the Lake Area.
Franken says his role is to oversee the group of leaders from Camden, Laclede, Miller and Morgan counties.
Franken says the LOCLG serves residents in Camden, Laclede, Miller and Morgan counties.
The LOCLG is committed to serving the local communities of their regional counties by enhancing the quality of life through combined efforts of local municipalities, civic organizations, private citizens and state initiatives.
